The Madison String Quartet, praised for its energetic performances and inventive programming, currently serves as artists-in-residence at Drew University in Madison, NJ. With a commitment to broadening the horizons of the traditional quartet repertoire, MSQ presents varied and interesting programs. Their eclectic programming combines a fresh and individual approach to the classic literature with music by Spanish and Latin American composers such as Joachin Turina, Astor Piazzolla, and Paquito D' Rivera. MSQ also champions works by contemporary composers such as NJ composers Dave Rimelis and Miguel Del Aguila.
